Freedom Movement Under Attack, May 13 2011

I check fark.com quite often to see what politicians are up to.  Most of the time, it puts the tag HERO next to Socialist/Communist acts committed by American politicians - even presidents - and DUMBASS, STUPID, ASSININE, or FAIL tags next to Libertarians who oppose the criminal American government expanding beyond its means without permission or say from the American people.  As one headline reads "STUPID - Ron Paul is running for President, so he can lead the government he thinks is unnecessary."  I don't know about you, but a more unnecessary comment about one of America's only hopes couldn't have been made.  Maybe once Americans have had enough and Obama declares martial law, fark.com will have FAIL next to "Another American revolution in a time where freedom is a thing of the past."

It's like watching Real Time with Bill Maher, where all but one of the panelists is Socialist who calls the Tea Party racist, the freedom movement idiotic, and praise scheming politicians for their misunderstood efforts in stripping America clean of freedoms.  The one pro-freedom and logically-thinking panelist generally argues endlessly with the others, who are applauded by the audience, before Maher makes a joke and switches topics.  Maher is sometimes funny, and I sometimes agree with his religious views, but the man is an arrogant ass.

A majority of the time, The Colbert Report and Real Time's audience will applaud a joke slamming or mocking the freedom movement, and they will boo comments made about Obama, the government in general, or the success of the pro-freedom movement.  One woman interviewed before the Royal Wedding (in a segment on, I believe, the Colbert Report, where Brits gave an unfavorable view of the wedding during a time of more pressing political matters) said she'd rather pay for the wedding (taxpayer money) than pay for illegals....and was booed.  Maybe the BOO sign was lit up and they just did as they were told?  A year ago I remember America being vehemently opposed to Obama's proposal to grant amnesty to millions of illegals and very unhappy how our taxes pay to keep illegals here.

Since watching Zeitgeist in 07, it's taken me years to fully adjust to the reality of how life really is in America compared to what the news says, compared to what shows like the aforementioned say....and I wish more Americans weren't so mindlessly adapted to a life of lies created by the government and laughing their freedoms away, then wondering where they all went.

The freedom movement is on fire, but we need to take a stand against the tyranny and idiocy of our government and against the talking heads on TV telling us not to because there is nothing to worry about.
