THE EXCAVATOR
“You can’t continually be talking about tyrannies as if it is gun to the head, and we’re being forced and coerced all the time. Sooner or later we’re going to have to ask a more deeper question. What is it that the slave is doing to not only bring about his own enslavement, but, perhaps, to even bring into being the enslavers. Because ultimately I believe that this master-slave thing is a relationship. It is in our relationships on an intimate, domestic level, and it is further up the fractal.
.
There is a relationship here between the parasite and the host.
.
Basically, we’re asking a question, and that is: Is Man accepting tyranny in all its forms, both in intimate life and further up the fractal, are we accepting that because we’d rather have external tyranny in any form than walk the road of selfhood? I don’t know. I say we’re exploring it together. Is Man so afraid of the burden, the weight of being a Self? Is he so apprehensive about walking the [inaudible] road or he tries it and finds out that’s a bit tough that he then makes this sort of inner contract with himself to follow the gurus, and follow the leaders and the masters, so that these tyrants, both political and religious, exist? Because you won’t find carrion crows and vultures in a Japanese tea garden. If you’re finding maggots, the meat is rotten. If you’re finding rats, it’s a sewer.
Our neglect, our avoidance of selfhood, could that be in some way causing the state of decay that we see? Don’t blame the vultures and the carrion crows, they’re doing exactly what they need to do. The maggots are doing exactly what they need to do. If something is dead then don’t blame the maggots. So if the psyche is in a state of decay don’t blame the predators for coming by and setting up shop. ” – Michael Tsarion, from his 2010 lecture series called “Age of Manipulation.” Listen to the precise and full quote at 0:32:56 – 0:35:25.
Michael Tsarion, an author and teacher, asks if a person’s compliant acceptance of the judgements and pronouncements made by top political and religious leaders is connected to their own lack of an authentic self. What type of person would believe what world leaders say instead of his or her own eyes? A person who is not confident in his own judgements about the world and reality. Somebody who watches the collapse of WTC building 7 and still believes the official story of the 9/11 events given by the U.S. government and repeated by the world media does not want to take on the responsibility of thinking for himself. Such a person has abandoned the task of being human, of reflecting and problem-solving, and given the job to leaders and politicians to articulate global problems for him and fix the world while he is busy dozing off.
As Robert Anton Wilson and Terence McKenna tried to teach us, a blind confidence in any government or political system is stupid and childish. It is also self-destructive. McKenna and Wilson both said that intelligent human beings should get rid of their belief systems and judge reality with their own eyes rather than trust the words uttered by government leaders and media talking heads. Wilson called all belief systems bullshit. And McKenna said:
I am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that if people didn’t think, act and worship like slaves on this planet then there wouldn’t be tyrants and sociopathic elitists who are always ready to lead slaves into horrific nightmares and orgies of destruction for their own enjoyment. We must ask ourselves: Could the enemy of human liberty be the docile and unquestioning sheep instead of the power-hungry and demon-possessed tyrants? It is not an easy question to answer.
The struggle between freedom and tyranny is not much of a tug of war if the people who are fighting for freedom are pulling tyranny’s side of the rope while deluding themselves that they are pulling freedom’s side of the rope. There is nothing more tyrannical than self-delusion. The will to power by monsters like Hitler and Stalin can’t compare to the individual’s lifelong appetite for continual self-denial and self-deception. Clinton, Bush and Obama are little rats compared to the lions and eagles that humanity is capable of producing as its leaders if people started to become informed citizens and amateur philosophers rather than remain child-like voters and consumers.
As Michael Tsarion says, the master-slave relationship is not an innocent-guilty relationship. There are only tyrants because there are unquestioning, complacent and obedient slaves who follow the tyrants into hell. It is not the other way around. If people think for themselves then governments and world leaders like Barack Obama and Stephen Harper would not be able to sell obvious lies to the people like “9/11 was done by Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.” Is Obama a scumbag for lying? Yes and more. Was Bush a scumbag? Yes. Are Tim Geithner, Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke, and Larry Summers slimy, parasitic slugs? Yes. But at least they have a will, at least they know who they are and what they want. They are not perpetually deceiving themselves like the average sucker who believes in fallacies such as the Federal Reserve is a legitimate institution, 9/11 was done by Al Qaeda, terrorism is an existential threat, and anyone can become President in the United States of America.
In America, the master-slave relationship has existed in a covert way since the establishment of the parasitic and illegitimate Federal Reserve Bank and the implementation of the unconstitutional income tax. All Americans are slaves to the modern-day plantation owners: private global bankers, and multinational, monopolistic corporations. But this truth is kept hidden because there would be a revolution if the people knew that the entire Western banking system is based on fraud, deception and usury.
Back when black people were slaves there was no conspiracy or secrecy necessary to keep the truth hidden because black people were viewed as lower animals who deserved to be treated like slaves by their masters. Both the people and the government accepted this anti-human and ungodly worldview. Slavery still exists in America in the 21st century but all the people are now treated like lower animals by the federal government. Only a government that has accepted the worldview that the people are slaves is able to sacrifice nearly 3,000 Americans in a false flag attack, and send many more Americans to fight in countries that pose no threat to their liberties or security. Under an empire 99% of the people are tax slaves and debt slaves, and less than one percent are the masters.
For America and the West to be free the people have to come together and peacefully overthrow the corporate-global empire and the parasitic Federal Reserve System/Western banking system. Terence McKenna again:
The people who deceive themselves and allow themselves to be led, fooled, and corrupted by cruel tyrants are not complete victims. There is such a thing as individual responsibility. Each of us has to live with our conscience and our soul forever. We can’t deny history in heaven or hell.
What happens to the obedient slave and the spiteful tyrant when they both die? Who suffers more? The unknown soldier who believed he was defending freedom and his country when in reality he died in an engineered and evil war that only made a few men richer and more powerful has always existed, but there would not be an unknown soldier in the first place if every soldier examined his own views and underwent a personal journey to self-knowledge. The unknown soldier was an unknown man before he decided to put on the uniform. He never truly knew himself. He didn’t even know what he was fighting for. He was misled into battle to serve a will higher and more powerful than his own.
The soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan still don’t know what they are fighting for after ten years of war! They are not fighting to keep America free and safe. They tragically believed in the propaganda by the United States government which was constructed for unthinking and obedient slaves to convince them to fight in evil wars of conquest. Like the slaves of all empires, American, Canadian, Australian and British soldiers are not free men. And that is a great shame.
Kissinger was partly right when he called military men dumb, stupid animals. If soldiers were smart and brave then they would question every order from their superiors instead of following every order like submissive slaves who lack spirit and discernment. It is a crazy and silly notion to think that you will be fighting for freedom, defense and honor when you join the modern military, because, as Heinrich von Kleist said, the military is “a living monument to tyranny.” I bet the soldier who fought in Hitler’s army is in a worse hell than Hitler: the hell of his own making. The mental slave has to live with himself for eternity, and face his own weaknesses for faithfully following self-destructive mad-men into the abyss. The soldiers who conspired to overthrow Hitler are happier souls.
But the military is not the heart of tyranny. America is not living in a military dictatorship, not yet at least. Michael Tsarion says that the people of America and the West live in a psychic dictatorship, and advises us to do our individual shadow work and face the crisis of conscience that exists in the present-day world. It is never too late to get your hands dirty, to dig into the roots of your being and question your entire worldview, reality as you know it, including what you have been taught, what you know from secondhand knowledge, what are you being told by the media and politicians, what you see in the cinema, what you read in the newspapers.
Question everything and trust your gut, your instinct, your judgment, your brain, your soul, and your eyes. Embrace an attitude of perpetual self questioning. Examine your own prejudices and views about reality and the world. Don’t be afraid to see the world with news eyes. That’s a good thing. Reexamine history and read different authors to gain new perspectives. Don’t “follow the gurus, and follow the leaders,” says Tsarion.
It is a massive political and psychological awakening project and each of us must do it on our own. There are no leaders in the psychic revolution, or the revolution of conscience. What is stake is the creation of your self, your identity, your soul. Will you follow the tyrants of this world or stand up for freedom and the values that you believe in? How do you want to perceive yourself when you are no longer a living, breathing human being? If you follow tyrants, trust what they say, and do their dirty deeds for them while under their hypnosis then you will live with shame and guilt (if you accept responsibility for your actions). But you need not experience such misery if you stay true to yourself, question every government statement, and judge men wisely.
Can Mankind ever move beyond the master-slave relationship? I don’t see why not. Every man can learn to live as the King of his own soul and of his own house. We have it in us to be intelligent and creative beings, not gullible animals. And it is time that we start acting intelligently because the world is in a global state of emergency.
In “The Undiscovered Self,” Carl Jung raised the question: “What will become of our civilization, and of man himself, if the hydrogen bombs begin to go off, or if the spiritual and moral darkness of State absolutism should spread over Europe?” (Jung; The Undiscovered Self, pg. 2). I hope we never get to answer that question, but thinking about it is a must if we are to preserve human freedom as well as the teachings and traditions of the past.
What blinds us, or what makes historical progress very difficult, is our lack of awareness of our ignorance. And [I think] that beliefs should be put aside, and that a psychedelic society would abandon belief systems [in favor of] direct experience and this is, I think much, of the problem of the modern dilemma, is that direct experience has been discounted and in its place all kind of belief systems have been erected… If you believe something, you’re automatically precluded from believing in the opposite, which means that a degree of your human freedom has been forfeited in the act of this belief.
Tsarion is a great preserver and communicator of this kind of information. I think there is a false notion out there that this kind of information that Tsarion talks about is not for everybody. Nothing could be further from the truth. Knowledge is for everybody to grasp. If you are on a personal journey to self-discovery and liberation then all information should go down easy, and you should be able to have an inner conversation with your own inner guru. It is also a deeply spiritual and religious journey, in the greatest sense of the world. As Terence McKenna said “There is a spiritual obligation, there is a task to be done. It is not, however, something as simple as following a set of somebody else’s rules.”
Although there is a global 9/11 truth movement and a massive political awakening developing in this new century there are still millions of people who deny obvious facts that are in front of their nose and refuse to accept the truth that their top political leaders are tyrants who are hiding behind masks and deceiving the world population about 9/11, terrorism, and the big plan for a global technofascist police state.

Progress of human civilization in the area of defining human freedom is not made from the top down. No king, no parliment, no government ever extended to the people more rights than the people insisted upon.I think it is a greater crime to deceive yourself than to be deceived by governments and political leaders, especially when there is so much information and facts in front of your eyes. It’s not like people are kept totally away from the truth about 9/11, the Federal Reserve, and plans for an authoritarian world empire. The truth is out there to discover. But the deniers are mentally unable to accept the truth and instead choose to denigrate others who do see the truth as crazy conspiracy theorists and nut jobs.
The people who deceive themselves and allow themselves to be led, fooled, and corrupted by cruel tyrants are not complete victims. There is such a thing as individual responsibility. Each of us has to live with our conscience and our soul forever. We can’t deny history in heaven or hell.
