NATO is extending its operation in Libya by another three months. The Alliance chief says the decision is meant to signal to Colonel Gaddafi that the coalition is determined to fulfill the UN mandate to protect Libyans. But anti-war activist Chris Nineham says the whole campaign has become an obsessive quest to oust Gaddafi.
